What is the Comprehensive Plan and Why is it Important?
In 2007, the Village adopted the current Comprehensive Plan prepared and proposed by a resident committee and Robert Geneslaw Co., Planning and Development Consultants. The comprehensive plan is a long-term document designed to guide the physical, social, and economic development of the community. It provides a unified vision by outlining goals, policies, and actionable strategies for housing, transportation, land use, and public facilities for the Village of Sloatsburg.
